Five men have been questioned after a crush at a music venue where a Kent security guard died.
Gaby Hutchinson, from Gravesend, was one of two people killed when ticketless fans tried to force their way into a show by Afrobeats artist Asake at the O2 Academy in Brixton on December 15 2022.
Two years on, the Met Police has made three arrests, including one on suspicion of manslaughter by unlawful act.
Gaby, who was 23 when he died, was described by his partner as someone so kind he would “give you the shirt off their back if someone else needed it”.
A 33-year-old man was first arrested on suspicion of assault on an emergency worker and false imprisonment in February of this year.
In May, a man in his 40s was arrested on suspicion of manslaughter by unlawful act and violent disorder and was later released under investigation.
On October 10, a 23-year-old male was arrested on suspicion of violent disorder and criminal damage. He was too released under investigation.
Two men, aged 41 and 26, voluntarily attended an east London police station and were interviewed under caution in connection to manslaughter by unlawful act and violent disorder.
Enquiries concerning the pair remain ongoing.
A Met Police spokesman added: “Our investigation continues.
“It is vast and complex and there are many lines of inquiry to follow in order to establish the facts and get to the truth.
"We remain committed to following the evidence wherever it takes us.
“This process could take considerable time. We are not able to give a running commentary on the investigation."
Gaby was working as a security dog handler at the event with three-year-old German Shepherd Coco.
The 23-year-old was taken to St Thomas’ Hosptial in London and died four days later on December 19.
In December 2023, Gaby’s family urged Asake to ask his fans to come forward with information about the event.
Earlier this year, they instructed lawyers to take legal action, saying they wanted to “find out the truth”.
A 33-year-old mum-of-two named Rebecca Ikumelo also died at the venue, and another woman was left with life-changing injuries.
Gaby’s partner Phoebie Turley, 25, said there needs to be justice for the victims: "Things like this should never have happened.
"Every action has a reaction and this consequence has come out of people turning up with no tickets or turning up trying to kick through a door.
"For what? What purpose did that serve? Because now you have killed innocent people.”
The couple had been dating for three years after meeting through mutual friends and Phoebe described her partner as "the nicest person I'd ever known".
"Gaby literally would have done anything for anyone at the drop of a hat," she told PA.
"Gaby would have given you the shirt off their back if someone else needed it. Gaby was like that our entire relationship. He did everything for me from the minute we met.”
The Brixton Academy was forced to shut for 16 months after the crush happened, as police urged Lambeth Council to remove its licence.
It was allowed to reopen in April this year after new safety protocols were put in place.
Brixton Academy is owned by Academy Music Group (AMG), which runs 18 live music venues across the UK, including three others in London.
They have said new safety measures had been developed to ensure their licence is restored, including stronger doors, a better queuing system, and more secure ticketing.
