Emergency services are at the scene of what they are describing as a "serious" flat fire this evening.
Crews rushed to Parrock Street, Gravesend after the blaze broke out shortly after 7pm.
Three fire engines attended and police put a roadblock in place.
Crews evacuated all four flats within the block, and extinguished the fire.
A high pressure fan was used to clear the building of smoke.
The cause of the fire is not yet known and Parrock Street remains closed.
It is not yet known whether anyone has been injured.
