THE manager of Gravesend & Northfleet Football Club, Andy Ford, has quit his post with the club.

Rumours that he was under pressure had been rife for weeks following the club's sharp decline which had seen the club slip from third on October 2 to 14th in the Nationwide Conference – 10 points above the relegation zone.

Last Saturday's 3-1 defeat by Aldershot was the club's seventh at home without a win.
