Micheal West has sealed his move to the Football League by joining Crewe Alexandra.
The 21-year-old highly rated Ebbsleet forward completed his move to the newly promoted League 1 outfit who confirmed they have agreed a “nominal” compensation package with Fleet for his services.
He follows Calum Willock, Ricky Shakes and Liam Enver-Marum out of Stonebridge Road, with his future the subject of much speculation in recent weeks, boss Liam Daish admitting he was resigned to losing him before the start of the season.
West, a product of the Fleet’s youth scheme,tweeted: “Happy to sign for Crewe but would like to thank everyone at EUFC for everything they have done for me over the years and will never forget my time at the club. Appreciate all the support especially from the Ebbsfleet faithful! Up the fleet! Looking for to a new start at Crewe FC.”
West who was linked with Championship side Crystal Palace last season, scored 32 goals in 121 games for the Fleet.
