A group accused of kidnapping and imprisoning a man against his will have appeared in court.
The four men allegedly locked up the victim in Gravesend last June.
Sam Secord, 29, Charlie Saunter, 19, William O'Brian, 19, and Kai Haruna, 18, have been remanded in custody to appear at crown court.
All of the defendants have been charged with kidnap under common law for unlawfully and by force or fraud taking a man against his will.
They will also face charges of false imprisonment after the victim was alleged to have been assaulted and unlawfully and injuriously imprisoned and detained against his will.
The incident is alleged to have taken place on June 30, last year.
A hearing at Medway Magistrates Court today heard the four defendants had targeted their victim.
Prosecutor Victoria McGrady said the case concerns "a very serious allegation relating to a vulnerable male in the Gravesend area".
The case has been sent to Maidstone Crown Court on November 11.
