Four men have been arrested in connection with a serious assault on a man in the early hours of Saturday.

The four, all aged between 20 and 21 years old, are from the Swanscombe and Greenhithe areas.

The arrests follow an attack in New Road, Gravesend, which left a 28-year-old man in hospital with a head injury. He has now been released from Darent Valley Hospital in Dartford.

The four have all been released on bail until Monday, June 2 pending further enquiries.
