The A2 was partially blocked following a four-vehicle crash.

The incident is believed to have taken place near the Gravesend Tollgate Services turn off.

The London-bound carriageway was blocked for a short period of time but traffic is now getting through.

At its worst, congestions stretched back to Cobham Services.

Kent Police was called at 8.33am and are at the scene with crews from the South East Coast Ambulance Service.

No serious injuries have been reported and the vehicles involved have moved to the hard shoulder after briefly obstructing a live lane.
