Fresh appeal for information over missing New Ash Green woman Sarah Wellgreen

Volunteers running the Search for Sarah Wellgreen Facebook page have issued a fresh appeal for information.

The 47-year-old has not been seen since October 9, last year, when she was spotted near her home in Bazes Shaw - and volunteers say they are still working tirelessly along with police to find her.

While her former partner Ben Lacomba awaits trial in June - having denied murdering her - the search group is asking anyone out walking to remain vigilant.

"Kent Police are tirelessly searching daily using full police search resources and finding Sarah is still a priority," the group posted.

"Whilst we are very quiet on the page please be assured that we are working tirelessly in the background and we continue to liaise with Kent Police throughout.

"We continue to support the family in any way we can, who, whilst desperately wanting Sarah found, are managing to maintain a level of normality until closure can be found.

"How you can help... As Spring approaches, we are asking people to become mindful when out walking, checking outbuildings and sheds, noting empty properties or abandoned cars untouched since October last year."

Anyone with information should contact the police on 101.
