HUNDREDS of fans will be disappointed at the news that Saturday's FA Trophy match at Stonebridge Road has been postponed because of a frozen pitch.

Ebbsfleet United was due to play Stalybridge Celtic, but referee Steve Bennett called it off after a pitch inspection at 1pm on Friday.

Patches of frozen ground and a poor forecast overnight and tomorrow led to the decision to postpone the match, which will now hopefully be played on Tuesday, January 13 at 7.45pm.
