Police are investigating a report of a man acting suspiciously after a teenage girl was approached.

The 15-year-old was said to be in Windmill Street, Gravesend, early on Monday evening when the vehicle pulled up alongside her.

One of the occupants was then said to have spoken to the girl.

Posts on social media reported there were three or four men in the car, said to be a green-coloured BMW 318 series. All were described as white and English-speaking.

A police spokesman said officers were called at about 6.30pm and that inquiries were ongoing.
