A teenager from Gravesend is a step closer to the top of the world after making it to the final of a beauty contest.
Care assistant Raisa Cheema fought off competition from 500 others to be named one of 50 finalists at the Miss Universe Great Britain final in May.
If she wins, the 18-year-old will compete with beauties from around the world in the Miss Universe final this summer.
The pageant, the venue for which is yet to be announced, is owned and run by American tycoon Donald Trump.
