Clinical finishing earned Tonbridge Juddians bragging rights and crucial league points over Kent rivals Gravesend on Saturday.
Chris Meddings kicked three early penalties for the hosts, with Dan Hawkes slotting one in reply for TJs.
Tries from Toby Martin and Jack Knight then put the visitors in command and one left the Gs trailing 17-9 at the interval.
Dave Irvine scored Gravesend’s only try of the afternoon to reduce the arrears but TJs hit back with a John McMahon try which Hawkes converted.
Two more well-worked scores saw TJs ease clear in the latter stages to finish 36-14 winners.
Gs are now two places off the bottom of National 3 London & South East.
