Two boys had to be helped off the roof of a rowing club by fire crews last night.

The drama unfolded just after 9pm when the Coastguard spotted the two boys on the roof of Gravesend Rowing Club on Gordon Promenade and alerted the fire service.

A crew from Thames-side fire station attended and crews climbed up to the roof on a ladder before helping the pair down.
