Gravesend lost 31-11 at home to CR Rugby 1863 in National 3 London & South East on Saturday.

Gs led 11-10 at half-time but their hopes were ended by three converted scores after the break and they remain 11th.

Gravesend trailed to a try from Tom Mitchell and lost Scott Curley to a dislocated elbow soon after.

Ashley Moorey’s try and two penalties from Chris Meddings put Gravesend in front while Jamie Evans added a second score for the visitors.

Gravesend made a string of handling errors in the second half and they were punished by converted tries from Scott Hadden, Gino Corradi and Stuart Peel as CS ran out comfortable winners.
