Gravesend ladies 1sts lost out 1-0 at Maidstone, edged out by a second-half decider in East Women’s League Division 2 South East last Saturday.

They started strongly, hit the post early on and had plenty of possession in an even first half.

The home side went in front but Gravesend battled to the end, winning several penalty corners in the closing stages.
