The son of missing Sarah Wellgreen has spoken out days before her ex partner goes on trial on suspicion of murder.
The 47-year-old mother of five vanished after being spotted near her home in Bazes Shaw, New Ash Green, on October 9, and is feared to have been killed.
Sarah's ex-partner Ben Lacomba, 38, was arrested on October 16 before being released on bail - but was arrested again two months later and will now stand trial from Monday September 30.
On Sunday a statement from Miss Wellgreen's son Lewis Burdett was posted on the Search for Sarah Wellgreen Facebook site, stating: "A message from Sarah's son; Lewis as we approach the trial - Not long now Mum, only 8 days left until we start to find out the truth about what really happened back in October last year. We still miss you every day, with court starting so soon it's getting so much harder not being able to have your guidance with the hard times ahead."
Repeated police and volunteer searches have been conducted since her disappearance but no body has ever been recovered.
Sarah had not used her bank cards or mobile phone since October 9, and her black iPhone 4, believed to hold vital clues, has also not been found.
In December last year volunteers launched a trust to help raise money for Sarah's family.
