A STUDENT was forced to hand over cash to robbers after they threatened to shoot him.
The 18-year-old, who does not want to be named, was left in fear for his life after he and a friend had a gun pulled on them by a trio of thugs.
The pair were walking along an alleyway in Milton Hall Road, Gravesend, when they were approached by a youth on a blue BMX bike, who asked them if they had any cigarettes. When they said no, he asked where they lived.
At this point, the Gravesend lad noticed two other youths walking along the alleyway and all three then gathered around him and his friend.
One of the three then pulled what appeared to be a gun from the waistband of his trousers.
The victim’s friend was then punched in the face and the pair handed over £30 cash, asking the attacker and his friends to leave them alone.
The victim was threatened with being shot then kicked in the chin by the youth on the bike, before he and his friend were able to back away to safety.
No shots were fired and it is not known if the gun was real or an imitation. Both suffered only minor bruising.
Police are appealing for information about the attack, which happened on Sunday, September 23, between 3.20pm and 3.40pm.
All three robbers were white, male and aged between 17 and 18.
One was wearing a dark blue hooded top and tracksuit bottoms.
Another was 5ft 2in tall and wore a hooded black top and baggy black tracksuit bottoms. He had distinctive dimples.
The third wore a black jacket with a hood and zip, black trousers which had a silver chain hanging from them and a pink and yellow t-shirt.
