A 43-year-old welder who secretly filmed two young women nude and in their underwear over a period of many months has been told he may be jailed.

Gordon Bracey spied through the crack of an open door with the help of a digital video camera.

Bracey, of Woodfield Avenue, Gravesend, then took 55 stills from the footage of his victims, Dartford magistrates were told. He downloaded these onto a computer where they were stored in a file which only he could access with a password.

In court Bracey denied seven specimen charges of voyeurism in Gravesend between March 18 and July 25 last year. He admitted he had videoed the women, taken stills from the footage and downloaded them, but claimed it was not for any sexual gratification.

The magistrates adjourned sentencing until September 19 to allow reports to be prepared but warned Bracey a custodial sentence was likely.
