THE majestic sight of the HMS Illustrious will be passing Gravesend and Dartford today between 1pm and 1.30pm.

Spectators gathered along the riverfront last Tuesday to watch her travelling up the Thames on her way to Greenwich to take part in the Remembrance Day services.

Today the Illustrious, complete with fighter jet on deck, will head back out to sea to continue her duties.
