Police and fire crews were called after suspected arson attacks damaged property including a bungalow, car and wheelie bins in Bean.
Emergency services were called to the junction of Stonewood and Beacon Drive, following reports a car had been set alight.
One fire engine attended and crews arrived to find the fire had spread to the front porch of a house, before using a high-pressure hose reel jet to extinguish the fire.
Just over 10 minutes later, crews were then called to reports of two wheelie bin areas on fire in Stonewood.
Two fire engines attended the scene and crews used a main jet and hose reel jet to extinguish the fire, which is again thought to have been started deliberately.
Police believe the first attack happened between midnight and 2.30am on Saturday.
