The biggest store in Gravesend town centre is due to open its doors on Thursday.
Homeware giant B&M has set up in the old Marks and Spencer unit and has had a huge revamp.
Set over two floors there is almost 30,000sq ft of shopping space, ranging from food to furniture.
Julia Ross, the deputy manager of the store was born-and-bred in Gravesend and lives in the Valley Drive area.
She has come over from a career at House of Fraser and said: “The standards there are incredibly high, and I’ll be bringing that expectation to this store, it will be tidy and well presented. I couldn’t work here after coming from House of Fraser if I didn’t believe in the quality of what we sell.
"There's something for everyone."
The store is set to open at 9am on Thursday.
