People with a sweet tooth are in for treat when the popular ice cream parlour Creams comes to Gravesend.
The restaurant, which only sells desserts, will be opening in the building formerly held by the Globe bathroom store in Milton Road.
People can tuck into a wide array of dishes at the parlour including knickerbocker glories, banana splits, chocolate ice creams and different types of waffles and pancakes.
Owners hope it will be open in around three months time.
A spokeswoman said: “We’re going to be building on the site very soon so we’re looking at about February or March to open, but we can’t predict an exact date because we’ve got a lot of work to do.”
Creams opened a store in Chatham’s Dockside in November 2014 and it often has queues of people, mostly youngsters and teenagers, tailing out of the door as they wait to satisfy their pudding fixes.
The spokeswoman said: “People can look forward to ice creams and waffles and an atmosphere that children and youngsters can enjoy.
"Rather than go all the way up to Bluewater it will be a place for local people."
There will also be job opportunities which will be open until December 1.
