More than 100 people took to the streets as part of a fundraising walk in aid of a young mum with terminal cancer.
Nicola Biddiscombe, from Gravesend, was diagnosed with stage three triple negative breast cancer in April.
The 34-year-old, who works as a carer at Gravesham Community Hospital, was pregnant with her third child when she received the devastating news.
Chemotherapy was started immediately but as Nicola was expecting, investigations into her treatment had to be paused.
Following the birth of daughter Jasmine, the disease has now spread to her lungs, skin and liver and is now terminal.
A fundraiser was set up to support Nicola – together with partner Todd Miller and the couple's other two children, Delilah, six, and Rudi, two – in the hope of accessing life-prolonging treatment in the US. It has since amassed more than £180,000.
For the latest fundraiser, family and friends rallied together to host a seven mile walk, following by a party and raffle at the Railway Inn in Sole Street on Sunday.
Those attending were asked to wear something leopard print – Nicola's favourite – in support.
In total, an additional £14,400 was raised towards the fundraising goal of £250,000.
Her friend Anna Page, 38, who helped organise the event said: "It was just a lovely positive vibe with so much love and energy you could just feel it.
"Everyone wanted to be there and wanted to help."
Despite suffering from fatigue and pain, Nicola was also able to make an appearance
Anna added: "I was so happy to see her. It was touch and go whether she was going to come but she stayed for a few hours.
"Her dad read a speech on her behalf which was lovely and she was overwhelmed by how much support there was generally."
The walk took place on the same day the death of pop star Sarah Harding was announced after her battle with breast cancer.
Nicola posted online to thank her supporters and said: "RIP to the beautiful Sarah Harding."
She added: "You all absolutely smashed it. Thank you so so much.
"I'm so glad you are all on this journey with me it gives me comfort and strength to carry on fighting."
