Dave Abery of Istead & Ifield Harriers (pictured) was the first over-50 to finish the Orpington 10k on Sunday with a time of 38min 32sec to take 18th place overall.

He was 18 seconds and five places ahead of team-mate Joe Cumberland, while Simon Parrin was first Harrier home in 38.13 - good enough for 16th place.

Jackie King (44.58) was the first woman across the line in the Medway Town and Gown 10k, while Harriers team-mate Alan Cowan (43.53) was the first over-50 to finish.
