After all the worrying, waiting and wanting I've finally received my A-level results.
My hard work really did pay off. I have achieved an A* in Sociology, an A in Media and a B in Photography.
I am ecstatic! I cannot believe that my hopes were not only fulfilled but completely smashed.
Even as I write this a few hours later my hands are still shaking and the funny feeling in my tummy is racing at 100 mile an hour.
The true extent of my achievement hasn't actually settled in.
An A*, wow, if I'd told myself a year ago that I was going to be Northfleet School for Girls highest academic achiever in less than 12 months I would've laughed in my own face.
But here I am, unable to wipe the smile of my face as my family and teachers applauded and congratulated me on my enormous accomplishment.
Megan wasn't the only one to collect her results today
The relief I felt as my eyes scanned that daunting purple piece of paper was like a physical weight being lifted from my shoulders.
I'm just so thrilled that I've been able to prove myself wrong and make my family, peers and teachers even more proud of me than they already were.
I am so so proud of all my friends for how hard they've worked and for all they have achieved.
All of them have such bright futures ahead of them and I am so pleased that I got to witness and be apart of their journey.
Alice Wickens, a close friend of mine for several years, has achieved an A* in Photography and a C in both Media and English Literature.
Her hard work has allowed Alice to start a Film Production course at the University for The Creative Arts in September.
Georgia Erangey, another friend of mine achieved a Distinction in Health and Social Care and a C in Psychology.
"I'm buzzing! Canterbury Christ Church is going to be amazing" were her exact words, and the huge grin across her face only confirmed her statement.
Rochelle Mann studied Psychology, Media and English Literature and achieved C grades all round.
We all knew how hard Rochelle had worked so it was no surprise to us, when she confidently collected her result envelope.
Kes Rati has been accepted into Reading University to study Law after achieving an A in Psychology and in her EPQ, as well a B in Law and a C in politics.
Taylor Roswell's mum was over the moon at her daughter's results confirming her placement on Oxford Brookes' Fine Art course.
Drama and English Literature student Phoebe Fogarty, achieved a Distinction and a B.
She will be headed to Oxford Brookes to study English Literature in September.
I still can't believe that this important chapter of my life has come to end.
To have it end on such a high is such a tremendous feeling and I can't wait to celebrate with my family and friends.
I am aware that unfortunately everyone hasn't achieved the grades that they'd hoped for.
But no matter what letter or grade was printed on that results sheet, it does not define you.
You have so much to look forward and no matter where you go or what you do, your futures will be bright.
