Gravesend town centre will soon add another popular brand to its portfolio with the news that jewellery outlet Warren James is on its way.
Hot on the heels of home store B&M filling the unit left vacant by Marks & Spencer, the jewellers will be moving into the space previously occupied by Claire’s Accessories in New Road.
Claire’s, which was housed between Game and Burger King, shut down during the last weekend in August, with work getting underway to refit the unit’s interior and replace the shop front over the past fortnight.
The application for a Warren James store was submitted to Gravesham council by Craig Foster Architects, with town centre shoppers now eagerly awaiting the arrival of one of the country’s largest jewellers.
Warren James has 205 branches in the UK, including one in Chatham’s Pentagon shopping centre, offering rings, necklaces, bracelets, chains and more.
Gravesend High Street already boasts two jewellers — Blackwell and Lumar.
Warren James will open its Gravesend store on Saturday, October 29.
