Ebbsfleet’s Blue Square Bet Premier survival hopes suffered a blow with a 3-2 defeat at joint leaders Kidderminster on Saturday.
Fleet started well and went in front on 13 minutes when Dammy Shitta’s shot from the edge of the area beat Danny Lewis.
The hosts levelled less than a minute later with James Vincent scoring after Fleet failed to clear Marvin Johnson’s cross.
Greg Pearson hit the woodwork and Kyle Storer missed an open goal for Harriers before Anthony Malbon pounced on a mix-up between Preston Edwards and Jack Saville to put them 2-1 up on 61 minutes.
Substitute Callum Gittings scored Harriers’ third two minutes from time.
Fleet, who are five points adrift of safety in 23rd place, scored a last-minute consolation with a penalty from Nathan Elder.
It was their 10th away league defeat of the season.
