Two lanes of a London-bound carriageway were closed following a crash this afternoon.

Police were called to the incident on the A2 in Cobham, Gravesend, just before 4pm.

One of the lanes was blocked by a car, causing congestion.

Police confirmed the road was cleared and traffic eased just after 4.30pm.
