Life in the Blue Square Bet Premier suddenly looks a lot rosier for Ebbsfleet after what manager Liam Daish described as a great week for the club.
The Fleet twice came from behind to take points off former Football League clubs Luton and Grimsby in front of their home fans, either side of a convincing win at AFC Telford.
Daish repeatedly called for his side to show greater confidence and physicality in the opening weeks of the season as they struggled to pick up results.
But a haul of seven points from the three games lifted Ebbsfleet to 16th, their highest position since promotion through the Blue Square Bet South play-offs.
Daish (pictured) said: "It's been a great week for us - seven points out of two ex-League sides and a trip to Telford.
"Beating Grimsby is another landmark. You've just got to realise they're playing in the same league as you for a reason and you're in with a great shout of getting a win."
On Saturday, Ebbsfleet face a Kettering side managed by former Gillingham boss Mark Stimson.
"It'll be a battle, I know that," Daish admitted. "Stimmo will have his side set out and we'll be in for a tough day but we're in good fettle at the moment."
