Ebbsfleet boss Liam Daish says Saturday’s trip to relegation certainties Chester is an even bigger game than their 3-2 Blue Square Premier win at Luton last weekend.
Magno Vieira scored twice to take his tally to four in two games and move Fleet up to 19th in the table – although teams around them have several games in hand.
After visiting the Deva Stadium, with the home side knowing a win would take them out of minus points for the first time this season after a 25-point deduction, Daish’s side then host Histon at Stonebridge Road on Tuesday night.
Daish stressed the importance of keeping Fleet’s good form going, having won six of their last 10 games, securing 18 points in the process.
He said: “We are still in and around the bottom of the table and there are teams that have games in hand on us so there is a long way to go.
“Saturday is a bigger game than last week, it would be massive, irrespective of who we are playing or where. It is important to keep the run going.
“We need to show the same amount of application that we did on Saturday and approach the game in the same way as we would if we were playing Luton or Oxford.
“If we can do that, then hopefully that will be enough.”
Daish has a fully-fit squad for the trip to the North West.
