Drivers faced severe delays during the morning rush following a multi-vehicle crash on the A2 near Gravesend.

The vehicles collided on the London-bound carriageway between Hall Road and B255 Bean Lane just after 6.30am and were later moved to the hard shoulder.

All lanes re-opened shortly afterwards but drivers faced long delays, with traffic queuing from junction 1 of the M2.
