A busy main road is closed due to a burst water mains.
Harmer Street, near Gravesend Clock Tower, is shut at the junction with The Terrace while Southern Water carry out emergency repair works.
The road has been blocked off since just after 5pm.
KCC Highways is advising people to use an alternate route and to expect delays in the area.
