Two people have been arrested following the murder of a 29-year-old man in Northfleet last night.

The death sparked a huge police operation today (Friday) at the a housing estate in Northfleet.

The man died at a flat in Fishermen's Hill although it is not known how he was killed.

Police were making extensive inquiries in the area and have cordoned off a large area encompassing College Road and Kingston Court.

Two forensics vans are parked in the areas as scenes of crime officers investigate.
