A MAN has admitted his part in the killing of a father of three who was stabbed to death in a frenzied attack.
Kamaljit Kalon, 31, was knifed more than 40 times in full view of families and young children who were enjoying a summer's evening by the Thames.
Guljinder Singh Gurewal, 32, today (Tuesday) was finally brought to justice for his part in the murder on July 10, 2003 at Gravesend Promenade.
Singh, of no fixed address, had been on the run for more than four years before he returned to the country and handed himself into the police earlier this year.
The brutal attack happened when Mr Kolan went to meet Singh and another man at the popular riverside spot, they held him down in a frenzied stabbing attack and then fled through the streets, bare-chested with their bloodied shirts above their heads.
Husband and wife Surinder and Bhupinder Lehal were convicted in 2004 for perverting the court of justice for harbouring the killers in their home.
The second man remains on the run.
Singh, who admitted murder, will be sentenced on September 5.
