Man charged over Gravesend drug offences

A man has been charged with supplying crack cocaine following drug offences in Gravesend.

Kent Police officers went to a property in Croydon to arrest Anas Bendarouch on Thursday January 10, after he was identified as a suspect for drug related offences committed in Gravesend.

A subsequent search is reported to have uncovered a quantity of crack cocaine and items used to supply drugs, including digital scales.

The 22-year-old, of Limes Road in Croydon, was later charged with possessing crack cocaine with intent to supply.

He was remanded in custody to appear at Medway Magistrates’ Court on Friday January 11.

At the hearing he was further remanded and he will next appear at Woolwich Crown Court on Friday February 8.
