A suspected drink driver has been charged following a car crash in Ebbsfleet.

Police were called to the A2260 near the new Springhead Bridge following reports of a single vehicle collision.

The incident happened at about 2.50pm on Sunday.

Tomasz Morawiec, of Spring Vale North, Dartford, was arrested at the scene on suspicion of drink-driving and taken into custody.

The 36-year-old man has since been charged with drink-driving and driving a car without a licence or insurance.

He has been released on bail to attend Medway Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday, November 24.
