A man has been taken to hospital after falling from a balcony at a block of flats.

Police said the man fell at The Hive in Northfleet onto a building below just after 6.30am today.

A spokesman said: “Officers attended The Hive, Northfleet, with South East Coast Ambulance Service and the man was taken to hospital for medical attention.”

A spokesman for the ambulance service confirmed a man was taken to a London hospital in a serious condition.
