A man has been found dead at an address in Gravesend this afternoon.

Police were called to Sandown Road earlier to reports of concern for a man who is understood to have been missing for the last five weeks.

Firefighters from Thames-side were called at just before 3pm to assist.

A crime scene investigator is due to arrive at the scene shortly.

The man is thought to have been dead for some time.

It is understood police are not looking for anyone else.
