A man will appear in court after police found a stash of Class A drugs in a van.

Officers arrested Peter Wenn in Northfleet Green Road last Thursday after he was spotted driving the vehicle away from an address where a search warrant was due to take place.

They instead searched the van and the drugs, leading to the 50-year-old's arrest.

Wenn, of Northfleet Green, was charged with two counts of possessing cocaine with intent to supply and one count of possessing MDMA with intent to supply.

He was remanded in custody to appear at Maidstone Magistrates’ Court on Saturday, where he was further remanded to appear at Maidstone Crown Court on Friday, July 7.
