A man was taken to hospital after colliding with a van in Gravesend on Tuesday evening.

Both police and ambulance crews were called to the scene in Valley Drive at 7.54pm and the road was temporarily blocked.

The man, aged in his 40s, was taken to Kings College Hospital in London with head injuries, although they are not thought to be life threatening.
