A man suffered suspected back and neck injuries after crashing into a lamppost in the early hours of this morning.

Fire crews helped secure the wreckage so paramedics could reach the man after the smash in Parrock Road, Gravesend at 12.20am.

He was put onto a spinal board and taken to hospital by ambulance.

UK Power Networks were told about the damaged lamppost.
