A man will stand trial after allegedly embarking on a criminal damage spree.

Richard Somosu, 28, denied seven charges of scratching cars parked in Truro Road, possessing a knife and assaulting a police officer when he appeared at Medway Magistrates' Court yesterday.

Inquiries into the incident, which happened on Tuesday, are ongoing.

Somosu, of no fixed address, was remanded in custody and will next appear at Maidstone Crown Court on Thursday, April 5.
