Gravesend Lifeboat rescued a man when he fell in the water during the regatta.

The crew was coming alongside Newbridge Causeway by the Riverside Leisure Area to attend the regatta, when a man, believed to be in his 40s, fell from the causeway in to the water.

He was quickly recovered onto the causeway and was invited back to Gravesend RNLI for a warm shower and a cup of tea whilst his clothes were dried.
