Man seriously injured in nightclub attack

A man is critically ill in hospital after being head-butted in a Gravesend nightclub.

Police want to speak with people who were in Whispers nightclub last Friday night (April 3) and the early hours of Saturday morning, to come forward to help with their inquiries.

At around 1am on Saturday morning, a 32-year-old Hungarian man was approached by another man, who head-butted him, causing him to fall to the floor.

The victim suffered a serious head injury and remains in hospital in a critical but stable condition.

The suspect is described as a white male, aged in his early 20s, with short blonde hair wearing a green jacket and black and white shoes. Police said he is known to go to Whispers nightclub every Friday and Saturday night.
