Police in Essex are hunting a man with links to Kent.

Matthew Carter is wanted in connection with a knife attack in Tilbury which happened last month.

A woman suffered a cut to her hand after being approached in the street by a man with a knife between 4.50am and 5.10am on Saturday, July 14.

Carter, 35, is 5ft 8ins and is known to frequent Kent, particularly Gravesend.
