A HOUSE owner was stabbed in his upper body after he answered his front door to a man and a boy late at night.

Police in North Kent say the victim, in his 20s, had been asked by the pair whether a certain person lived at the address in Hibernia Drive, Gravesend.

When the victim said No, the offenders lashed out, causing the stab wounds. They then ran off.

The victim was taken to hospital were he was treated for his injuries. None of them are life-threatening.

Police are not able to say what weapons were used. The incident occurred on Friday, January 13, at about 11.30pm.

The two offenders are described as a white man and a white boy. The man is described as 5ft 10in tall with ginger, spiky hair wearing a three-quarter length nylon jacket.

The boy is thought to be aged between 14 and 15, around 5ft 5in tall of stocky build. He was wearing a dark baseball cap, cream coloured jacket and dark trousers.

PC Dean Sycamore, the officer investigating the incident, said: “We would like anyone who saw the two offenders and can help identify them to contact the police.”
