Police are hunting two fraudsters who tricked a man into giving them £3,000 after promising half the winnings of a lottery ticket worth £2 million.
The victim was approached by two Asian men in Edwin Street, Gravesend, who said they could not claim the ticket because they did not have a bank account.
They offered to split the winnings if he agreed to look after it and pay a £3,000 deposit.
He agreed and handed over the cash but has not seen the men since.
The incident took place on Tuesday, November 18 between 12.30pm and 2pm.
Investigators are appealing for any other victims to come forward or hear from anyone else targeted.
