A man who was arrested after 'driving at' pedestrians has been bailed.
The motorist was quizzed by police over the weekend after it was alleged he drove his car at people in Peacock Street, Gravesend, before crashing into parked cars.
Police received a report that a motorist had driven aggressively towards two or more people. He then made off from the area.
It happened just after midnight on Sunday May 5 and the man was arrested at a private address in York Street following a search of the area.
He was arrested on suspicion of assault, criminal damage and driving under the influence of drink or drugs and remains in custody as inquiries continue.
The 32-year-old has since been bailed, pending further inquiries, until Tuesday May 28.
No-one was injured during the incident.
