Ebbsfleet manager Liam Daish has this week been busy trying to boost his squad in the January transfer window.
The Fleet boss was contacting Charlton to extend midfielder Alex Stavrinou’s loan from Charlton, so he can play against Kettering at Stonebridge Road on Saturday.
Daish said: "Keeping Alex is the plan and, with the window open again, I will be making plenty of phone calls to see if there is something we can work on."
He believes hard work was key to winning at Grays, bouncing back quickly from the disappointing Boxing Day display at Hayes.
"Two good training sessions at Stonebridge Road got the game out of our systems and things rolled on from there," said Daish.
"We have got a little bit of consistency, are scoring goals and the penny has dropped with certain players."
Defender Darius Charles and Gavin Heeroo are both set to return to the squad at the weekend, after missing games over the Christmas and New Year programme.
Charles’ partner had a baby earlier this week, while Heeroo suffered severe whiplash in a car accident on his way to Hayes & Yeading on Boxing Day.
