Police are investigating reports of an assault that saw two men taken to hospital.

The incident was in London Road, Greenhithe, just after 9pm last night.

It is not believed the injuries were life-threatening.

A police spokesman said: "The road was closed while investigations were carried out and has reopened. Officers will continue making inquiries in the area."
